A European Parliament committee will vote on Monday on the EU’s first report addressing the housing crisis. The report proposes measures to boost housing supply and support demand, including revising state aid rules, increasing investment from the European Investment Bank, and promoting modular housing. MEPs stress housing as a fundamental right and highlight the need to support young and vulnerable groups. If approved in committee, the report will go to a plenary vote in March and then be sent to the European Commission for implementation. Material taken from https://www.dn.pt/ltimas
