In 2025, foreign buyers accounted for around 25% of all real estate transactions in Portugal. The total number of such purchases reached 41,086, marking a 6.6% increase year-on-year. Brazilian nationals were the most active group, acquiring approximately 9,800 properties. They were followed by buyers from Angola and France.
