Portugal’s immigration agency AIMA has started printing around 20,000 residence permit renewal cards processed in the second half of 2025. About half of the cards have already been dispatched, with distribution expected to continue through the first half of April. Many applicants are currently holding temporary renewal certificates set to expire on April 15, prompting the agency to accelerate production to prevent residents from being left without valid documents. Cards that were returned to AIMA can be collected in person. To ease demand, the agency’s Anjos office in Lisbon will open on Saturdays. AIMA also said notifications will be sent to applicants whose initial applications were rejected. Material taken from https://xn--r1a.website/s/portugalpages
