Lisbon authorities will introduce “red” and “blue” zones for ride-hailing services such as Uber and Bolt (TVDE). In red zones, picking up and dropping off passengers will be prohibited, affecting key areas including Avenida da Liberdade and Praça do Marquês de Pombal. The move aims to ease congestion on bus lanes and improve the speed of Carris public transport. Blue zones will be tested, requiring passengers to use designated pick-up points, similar to taxi stands. The agreement also предусматривает a full transition of TVDE fleets to electric vehicles by 2030, with 60% expected by year-end and annual increases thereafter.
