Parliament has approved a reform of the annual vehicle tax (IUC), introducing fixed calendar deadlines from 2028 and replacing the current system based on a vehicle’s registration month. The aim is to simplify payments and reduce fines caused by missed deadlines. Under the new model, taxes up to €100 must be paid by the end of April; amounts between €100 and €500 will be split between April and October; and sums above €500 will be paid in April, July and October. The year 2027 will serve as a transition period, while the existing system remains in place throughout 2026. An awareness campaign is also planned. Material taken from https://t.me/s/lepta
