The Preply platform study examined how people from different countries emotionally perceive foreign languages. In a survey of over 3,500 participants, 59% said they feel changes in their personality when switching to another language. French was named the most romantic and elegant language, with Italian in second place. Portuguese was rated the friendliest, ahead of Spanish. German was perceived as the harshest and most dominant. Psychologist Francisco Rivera explains these perceptions through associations between sounds, emotions, and cultural stereotypes. Material taken from https://t.me/s/lepta
