Taxpayers must review their expense records on the Portal das Finanças by March 31 to ensure accurate deduction calculations ahead of filing their annual tax return. Deduction data is automatically compiled based on receipts linked to each taxpayer’s identification number. The portal allows users to check spending across categories, including household expenses, and the corresponding deduction amounts. Corrections to general family expenses and invoice-related deductions can only be submitted until this deadline. Other categories, such as healthcare, education, and property-related expenses, can be adjusted later when filing returns between April 1 and June 30 via Annex H. Taxpayers may also designate a charity to receive part of their tax by March 31. Material taken from https://t.me/s/lepta
